Sandra Fenwick, chief operating officer of Children's Hospital, is now president too. Fenwick was responsible for the financial turn-around of the hospital in the new millennium, the hospital stated. She is also credited in the release with pushing the growth of satellite care facilities. Operating revenues have grown during her tenure from $300 million to over $1 billion.
Kathy Jenkins MD, formerly director of patient safety and quality, was promoted to senior vice president of patient safety and quality and will report to the CEO and president.
Meanwhile, Wellesley, Mass.-based Sun Life (NYSE: SLF) Christopher J. Quinn and Drew J. Niziak are newly appointed vice presidents. Quinn is vice president and chief operating officer of the Employee Benefits Group. He joined the company in 2003 and was most recently vice president and COO of Sun Life Financial Distributors, Inc.
Niziak is the new vice president and director of sales, the company stated. Niziak joined Sun Life in 1993 and was most recently vice president of distribution.
